Sugarcane bagasse untreated and pretreated by different methods was evaluated as absorbents in anaerobic digestion of grease trap waste from dairy wastewater treatment plant. Bagasse untreated and pretreated by the organosolv method increased the methane production in 52% and 82%, respectively, at a dairy fatty waste of 0.5 g COD.g^-1TVS.

Synthetic textile wastewater with high COD and color was treated using anaerobic osmotic membrane bioreactor (AnOMBR). Mono ammonium phosphate (MAP) with 1 M concentration was used as a fertilizer draw solution and suitable for fertigation of crops once diluted.
