Immunity, Inflammation and Disease is a peer-reviewed, open access, interdisciplinary journal, providing rapid publication of cutting-edge research across the broad field of immunology. Immunity, Inflammation and Disease gives rapid consideration to papers in all areas of clinical and basic research. The journal welcomes original work that enhances the understanding of immunology in areas including cellular and molecular immunology, clinical immunology, allergy, immunochemistry, immunogenetics, immune signalling, immune development, imaging, mathematical modelling, autoimmunity, transplantation immunology and cancer immunology.

Original research articles, methods papers, editorials and commentaries are published. Original research papers must report well-conducted research with conclusions supported by the data presented in the paper.

Immunity, Inflammation and Disease is a Wiley Open Access journal. All articles published by Immunity, Inflammation and Disease are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download and share. To cover the cost of publishing, Immunity, Inflammation and Disease charges a publication fee.

Immunity, Inflammation and Disease is supported by other journals published by Wiley including a number of society-owned journals. After review in a supporting Wiley journal, rejected articles of suitable quality can be identified by the Editor as candidates for publication in Immunity, Inflammation and Disease. Authors will have the option to automatically transfer their manuscript to Immunity, Inflammation and Disease and complete the submission process. The Immunity, Inflammation and Disease editors will then undertake further evaluation. Importantly, authors will not need to make any changes to their manuscript at this stage.
